INNOVATION

The Fintech Impact Award is an initiative of NRC Live to accelerate innovation in finance and challenge innovators. The awards focus on industry and consumer impact. Forty game changing Fintech companies were selected to participate in the Fintech Impact Awards. Eight made it to the finals.

Ohpen’s CCO Matthijs Aler: “For a business to business provider winning a third place in these awards confirms that we are gaining traction. People are getting to know us, even outside our target audience.”

Prior to the Fintech Live Awards all candidates were invited to pitch at the editorial offices of NRC Handelsblad.

NRC Live conferences are a spin-off of The Netherlands’ largest quality newspaper NRC Handelsblad. Being a finalist in the Fintech live Awards was not a first time recognition for Ohpen. Earlier Ohpen received a Golden Bull (“The Oscars of Finance”) and an Accenture Innovation Award.
